Senior researcher with a focus on business model innovation for sustainable mobility services

We are a growing research institute based in Gothenburg, Sweden that offers a research-intensive environment with close links to academia, industry and the public sector and the opportunity to shape sustainable transitions as they unfold. We offer the possibility to apply academic skills and competence in a range of applied and action-research projects linked to the transport sector.

RISE Viktoria is a research institute with 80 employees who focus on the development of sustainable transport systems. Viktoria consists of five application areas: electromobility, cooperative systems, digitalisation strategy, sustainable transport and sustainable business. We are engaged in cutting-edge projects linked to vehicle automation, connectivity, digitalisation, the circular economy and new mobility services that combine different transport modes (Mobility-as-a-Service). We offer a unique setting where scholars can combine academic achievement with impact by pursuing pioneering research and by aiming to influence societal developments. The Position: We are currently looking for a senior researcher with an interest in working on Mobility-as-a-Service (for more information, click here). The successful candidate will have:

  • A doctoral degree in a relevant social science discipline
  • Scientific competence within the field of business model innovation
  • Some experience of working in applied or action research
  • Knowledge of fields related to innovation/transition studies
